I chose to study at Westford University College because I was looking for a well-rounded education with the chance to be a part of a diverse student body. This was something the university could offer me, a collaborative environment and the opportunity to establish close relationships with the students and faculty.
There are many activities conducted within the classroom which I personally enjoy. For instance, I’ve taken part in debates, group presentations, and a vast variety of educational games. The activity I enjoy the most within my classroom are group presentations. It gives us the opportunity to form groups, research and present our assigned tasks to the professor and the rest of the class. During this activity the bond we have as classmates and friends grow stronger and we always end up having a lot of fun.
Westford for me is unique and different from any other university mainly because of the level of interaction between students and professors. Our best interests are always looked out for and if we have any doubts or questions regarding any issue, the faculty is always ready to provide their assistance and guidance.
The atmosphere within Westford is very open and friendly. Studies are conducted and taken seriously but in a non-competitive way within the classrooms where everyone is always ready to share their thoughts and opinions. There are many activities like debates, WeConnect, Toastmasters, inter-college competitions and quizzes which happen weekly within the college making the atmosphere livelier and engaging for the students.
As a first-year Business HND student, my learning experience in Westford has been one of the best journeys of my life. The approach taken by the university towards my chosen course has made me more interested and dedicated to pursuing a business career. They have opened many doors full of opportunities for me to experience the practical side of learning as well as academically. Therefore, my overall learning experience has been amazing as I’ve learned and experienced so much in a short period of time, for which I will always be grateful.
