Overview

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Westford. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and IT solutions. Your focus will be on understanding business needs, gathering and analyzing requirements, and contributing to the development of effective strategies and systems.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
• Conduct detailed requirement analysis, defining project scope, and outlining deliverables.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Participate in solution design and review, ensuring it meets business requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct data analysis to extract insights and inform decision-making processes.
• Assist in the testing and validation of new systems, features, or enhancements.
• Continuously monitor project progress, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide post-implementation support and collaborate on the refinement of solutions based on feedback.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex business needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, and process modeling.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Data analysis skills with the ability to derive insights from datasets.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant business analysis tools.

Educational and Experience

• Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an educational or related industry.
