Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Research Supervisor to lead and support research initiatives at Westford University College. As a Research Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and professional growth of our students while contributing to the advancement of research in your field.

Job roles and responsibilities:

  1. Provide mentorship and guidance to students or researchers by offering expertise, insight, and advice related to their research projects. This can include discussing research methodologies, experimental design, data collection, and analysis techniques.
  2. Ensure that researchers adhere to ethical guidelines and standards in their research activities. Discuss issues related to human subjects protection, data privacy, and research integrity.
  3. Assist in developing project timelines, milestones, and goals. Help researchers organize and manage their work effectively to meet deadlines and objectives.
  4. Provide constructive feedback on research proposals, methodologies, drafts, and presentations. Help researchers refine their work through critical evaluation.
  5. Support researchers in structuring research papers, theses, dissertations, or other publications. Provide insights into effective academic writing, citation styles, and manuscript preparation.
  6. Assist researchers in preparing research findings for publication in academic journals, conference proceedings, or other relevant outlets. This may involve reviewing and editing manuscripts, suggesting appropriate venues for publication, and guiding the overall dissemination strategy.
