    Dr. Ehsan Jorat boasts 16+ years of expertise in geotechnical engineering, specializing in laboratory and in-situ testing, soft soil stabilization, and geotechnical modelling. As a Senior Lecturer at Abertay University, he leads the Civil & Environmental Engineering program and co-leads the SAGES Carbon and Biogeochemical Cycles team, demonstrating his leadership in academia and research.

    Mr Petersen is the General Manager at Daimler Commercial Vehicles MENA FZE since 2019. He has had a global career in sales, marketing, and strategy. Overseeing Mercedes-Benz and Fuso sales and distribution across 19 countries, he's a seasoned leader with a robust educational background and expertise in commercial vehicle sales, marketing, and emerging technologies. Under his guidance, Daimler Commercial Vehicles MENA has evolved into a brand-agnostic provider, prioritizing future growth and cutting-edge vehicle technologies such as electrification, safety systems, and telematics.
