A volunteering assignment to India that nurtured leadership skills

Social Share

It is said that the best of leaders are teachers. At Westford University College, our teachers are the cornerstone of our growing institution. Every day our students learn different styles of leadership from our faculties. This time, we wanted our students to take the lead. For this, we selected 4 students from our MBA class for a volunteering assignment at Anna Primary School in Ooty, India. For this assignment, we received vast response from our students. Our selection panel had to select 4 students from a pool of 65 students.

These are the 4 students selected for the volunteering trip to India.

All the 4 students were assigned a class wherein they had to teach the young minds. This included topics like introduction to colors, craft, numbers, sports, public speaking, and dance.
