When finance and research shift to virtual learning!

Teaching in such times of disruption caused by intervention of COVID-19 is challenging, yet offers every opportunity to grow! The virtual learning demands the effective sharing of communication resources among educators and students, which remained available for our use as faculties.

My experience for teaching “all” our programs through online platforms has been a smooth transition. With our expertise in handling online programs (WBSOnline) since years, the sudden disruption was never a new task! Teaching finance and research remotely demands extra preparation to facilitate effective and engaged learning; and here we are with adequate tools in place! Resources are fully equipped through e-lecta whiteboard, screen sharing options, breakout rooms, active engagements through discussion forums and google documents. As an academician and researcher, time has abridged us with phenomenal opportunity to implement the future with tech-based learning through alternative instruction medium.

Internet access has allowed me to serve my student community with full vigor, achieved with delivering online lectures through my “empty yet vibrant” classrooms or by reaching out to my mentees with my “own space at home”.

I take pride in “Teaching in times of crisis” capitalizing on technologies, engaging with my passion in times of quarantine!
