Rendezvous 2024, hosted on November 23, 2024, at Woodlem Park School in Dubai, came to a close with great fanfare and a lot of enthusiastic participation from students of Westford University College and Demont Institute of Management & Technology. The six dynamic houses—Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Solar, and Zeta—were pitted against each other, competing across a large array of sports, cultural, and fashion show events.
This year’s event featured the exciting addition of a dance competition, which quickly won over the audience’s favour. Contestants from each of the six houses showcased their creativity, co-ordination, and energy with compelling performances that added a bright and dynamic touch to the day.
The sports tournaments were characterized by high energy and competitiveness, with students displaying excellent teamwork and sportsmanship. Going side by side with that, the cultural and academic contests revealed the different talents among participants, so a balanced platform for skills and creativity was achieved.
Contributing to the festive atmosphere were various food vendors, who provided a delectable assortment of cuisines that kept attendees refreshed and energized throughout the event. The lively food court emerged as a centre for socialization and relaxation amidst the competitive spirit.
The success of Rendezvous 2024 can be attributed to the dedication showed by the faculty, student organizers, and volunteers from both institutions. The seamless execution of the event, complemented by enthusiastic participation, has garnered overwhelming praise, hence its importance in fostering unity, creativity, and camaraderie.
