The Accounts Manager for WUC will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting functions, including the full cycle of financial record-keeping, ensuring the accuracy of accounts, and timely preparation of financial statements. The role includes managing payables, receivables, and monthly reporting, while also contributing to financial strategy and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Financial Records:
- Oversee and manage all financial transactions and records, ensuring accurate and complete bookkeeping.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure that all transactions are correctly categorized and recorded in a timely manner.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Payables & Receivables:
- Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments while maintaining relationships with vendors.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure no discrepancies between payments, receipts, and outstanding balances.
- Financial Reporting & MIS:
- Prepare and present monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Develop and manage monthly MIS reports and dashboards, providing clear visibility on key financial metrics and performance.
- Ensure regular monitoring of budgets vs actuals and provide insights to the management team.
- Compliance & Internal Controls:
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT returns for WUC.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial processes to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Collaboration & Team Management:
- Work closely with the Senior Group Finance Manager to align financial strategies with WUC’s business goals.
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring adherence to processes and developing a collaborative team environment.
- Reporting Line:
- Directly report to the **Senior Group Finance Manager**.
- Work closely with other members of the group finance team.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on full scale accounting managing payables, receivables, and full financial record-keeping.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Experience in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
