- Learn key concepts and theories of change management, including resistance to change and change drivers, and apply these concepts to lead and manage effective change initiatives in educational settings.
- Cultivate skills for conducting educational research, including ‘micro’ studies on change and improvements, and identify opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth in response to current educational challenges.
The program is structured into three modules. Upon completion, learners will earn up to 24 ECTS credits.

Upon completion of the module, learners will be able to:
- Critically analyse key contemporary issues affecting education management, including equity and inclusion, digital literacy, and mental health.
- Critically assess the implications of current educational policies on education management and practice.
- Examine global perspectives on education management, including strategies for sustainability and preparing students for a globalized world.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth in the context of current educational challenges.
Upon completion of the module, learners will be able to:
- Examine the contemporary issues and perspectives in education policy and practice in the rapidly changing educational landscape.
- Discuss the critical role of leadership in the formulation and implementation of educational policy and practice.
- Critically analyse the models of education leadership and management.
- Develop leadership strategies to navigate and influence policy implementation and practices for improved educational outcomes.
Upon completion of the module, learners will be able to:
- Describe the key concepts of change and change management in an educational context and underlying implications for educational leadership.
- Analyse the different approaches to educational change management and their implications for effective leadership practice.
- Critically evaluate the role of relevant theories and models of change management in leading educational change and improvements.
- Gain familiarity with different research practices and conduct ‘micro’ studies in the practice of educational research focusing on educational change and improvements.
