On June 27th, 2024, Westford made history by hosting it’s inaugural recruitment drive, a landmark event aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry. The Westford Recruitment Drive 2024 was held on 27th June 2024 with the participation of 14 prestigious companies, eager to connect with fresh talent from diverse fields.

The recruitment drive was designed with unique offerings to ensure the highest standards of selection. Students underwent a rigorous five-level screening process, showcasing their qualifications and potential. This comprehensive evaluation included resume submissions, expressions of interest, psychometric tests, workshop attendance, and final interviews. Eligible candidates had to complete ten modules, each passed successfully, to qualify for this opportunity.
The students who participated in the were from specialized domains such as Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Computer Science, Fashion, Sports, Psychology, and Business and Data Analytics. This wide array of fields ensured that companies had access to a diverse pool of talent, ready to meet the demands of various industries.
One of the standout features of the drive was the engagement in tailored workshops led by esteemed speakers. Cheryl Thornton delivered insightful sessions on Employability and Professional Skills, while Taher Gadiwala focused on the transition from student to employee. Additionally, Dr. Soofi Anwar, Assistant Dean of Westford, conducted a Recruitment Disciplinary and Etiquette Workshop. These sessions provided invaluable takeaways on effective recruitment practices, disciplinary procedures, workplace etiquette, and building a positive work environment.
