    The Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Counselling and Applied Psychology is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of counselling and applied psychology, preparing them for both academics and employment in these fields.

    Throughout the program, learners will delve into foundational concepts in counselling and psychology, gaining practical skills and theoretical knowledge essential for professional practice. The curriculum emphasizes experiential learning with opportunities for research, independent study and simulated workplace scenarios. This hands-on approach enables students to develop vocational behaviours and transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, research, and analysis.     The HND in Counselling and Applied Psychology is delivered across 14 modules and is meant to explore the creative capacity of learners through a focused curriculum that prepares them for future degree-level studies and/or industry work. The curriculum promotes experiential learning through group projects, practical assignments, and class partnerships to better mirror the real-world workplace. We replicate scenarios and increase engagement through a combination of study and practical training. This ensures that learners are always learning and honing their skills.
